The Asconi winery was founded in 1994 and is still a family business. Located 30 km from Chisinau, Askoni offers beautiful views, rustic architecture, accommodation, delicious food and excellent wines. Here you will find one of the best pies in the country, which we call "Placinta", which goes perfectly with dry red wine "Sol Negru".
Their goal is to make wines of good quality, using all modern technologies, but at the same time preserving the traditions of previous generations. European varieties are grown, but special attention is paid to native varieties, such as Rara Neagre, Feteasca Regale (Moldovan), Saperavi (Georgian), etc.
Tours include visits to the winery, storage, packaging, bottling and maturation workshops, as well as guided tasting of up to 7 wines. Guests can enjoy traditional dishes in the stone and mud restaurant, or spend the night in one of Asconi's traditional-style guest houses.
